Our CHEST are crafted of solid woods indigenous to South American forests, primarily mahogany, cedar, moena and requia. We use traditional assembly methods including mortise and tenon joints. Peninsula's unique CHESTS are finished with locally handcrafted forged iron hardware. Every raw board, component and finished piece is carefully inspected for moisture content to ensure optimum condition of all CHESTS when delivered to their final destination.

Although CHESTS are fabricated from established patterns, each of Peninsula’s hand-painted CHESTS are unique pieces of art. Several layers of the highest quality materials are used on Peninsula's furniture and then each CHEST is hand-distressed and HAND PAINTED.
